The building combined poured concrete with pre-cast elements.

Closed in February 2017 because of the discovery of asbestos and scheduled for demolition. A petition to stop the plans only gained 31 signatures. The Tinbergen Building was demolished in spring 2020 (last updated on February 7, 2025).
