The Forum Boario of Padua, "palace for oxen" was created in the mid-sixties. It was the era of development and modernization at all costs, often at the sacrifice of "forma urbis". The regulatory revolution relating to the purchase and sale of cattle changes and so, in a short time, the new Forum Boario of Padua becomes devoid of function; as was said then: a cathedral in the desert.
