  • The architects prototyped construction techniques and ideas like the open space between the street and the building, which were utilized again shortly after in the design of Torre Clement. The building was calculated by the engineers París, Granados and Gavillet.

    Artist Oduardo Rodríguez contributed the cinetic sculpture named “Tapaire” in front of the building. The name results from the union of the spanish words 'tapa' (block) 'aire' (air), which may be refering to the hidden ventilation ducts that are found below of it.
