Carlos Gómez De Llarena / Moisés Benacerraf: Torre América, 1978

  • Caracas, Venezuela, Show on map
  • #COM #Latin America
  • An office tower which gives generous public space to the street. Originally all the windows had a strong yellow color, reason why it was nicknamed "The Cob". Nowadays the color has been mostly lost but the nickname has remained. The striated surface of the facade generates solar protection and reduces the traces of water over concrete.

  • In use.
