  • The buildings are arranged to establish a close connection between them. The floors are welded together with joints both vertical and horizontal to give continuity to the architectural whole and contribute to a certain privacy in an open and dynamic spatiality of related forms. The volumes, while admitting a functional conception, in fact come to express themselves outside of any conformism and rules that are not considered acceptable a priori. A solid reasoning informs "the whole" even if there is always a will to transgress, towards customs that are always to be questioned. It is a constant search for creativity and innovation, even if in opposition to the so-called “normality” of habitual thought. The line of a creative sincerity is always present in overcoming any constraint to the freedom of our thought for the architecture. Translated from Italian, written by Saverio Busiri Vici

  • Today it houses the Pia Un. Ancelle Di Maria Immacolata Al Servizio Della Chiesa. Originally exposed concrete later painted white gray.
