  • The Lauinger Library is the main library of Georgetown University. It stores 1.7 million volumes on six floors and provides learning spaces for the students. It is said that the building out of exposed concrete was intended to be a brutalist interpretation of the Flemish Romanesque Healy Hall which is situated on Georgetown main campus as well.
