Harry Seidler: Australian Embassy, 1973D–1977

  • The Australian Embassy is located at the heart of Paris just 400 metres away from the Eiffel Tower and was designed by Harry Seidler. The Australian Embassy consists of two buildings, the Chancellery where Australia's diplomatic missions to France, OECD and UNESCO are housed and a residential apartment building with 34 apartments for Australian diplomats. The building was built using precast concrete and prestressed and precast floors.
