  • La Pagoda, officially known as Laboratorios Jorba, served as the headquarters of Laboratorios Jorba, a pharmaceutical company. The popular name of the building refers to the visible structure's resemblance to a pagoda, with each floor rotated 45º from the lower one and joined with a hyperboloid ruled surface. The complex is define by two building parts, the column-free warehouses covered by that technical solution and a freestanding tower that housed the office area.

  • In the 90s, the Madrid City Hall started to list those buildings worth receiving landmark status, however, the Jorba Laboratories was left out. Grupo Lar, the new owner of the property, requested a demolition permit with the goal of increasing the built area in the parcel. Demolished in 1999.
