The Kleiner Schlossplatz was a place next to the main shopping street in the heart of Stuttgart near the Stadtschloss (city palace). It was a platform on a higher level from the street to which it was connected by large stairs. Undergrund there was a huge crossing of streets and subway lines. On the platform, which was only accessible for pedestrians, there were some loosely arranged shopping pavillons made of glass and concrete. Written by Torsten Ahlers

In 1969 the structure was awarded the Rolf-Gutbrod-Prize. Demolished in 2002.
