Light-grey concrete surfaces next to red-brown brick surfaces, with blue and red window frames of the set-back windows in between. Some as narrow bands, some squarely divided into three parts. A flat glazed building lies directly next to the street. The ensemble of hard edges, smooth surfaces and window slits appears very closed. The different materials and colours loosen this up a little. 

Since 2016, it has been decided that the brutalist youth hostel will be abandoned. Since renovation was considered too expensive, the youth hostel moved to a new building elsewhere at the end of 2019. The old one is to be demolished, but nothing has happened yet. The building has since been used as refugee accommodation and currently as a girls' club. Future unclear (last updated on February 13, 2025).
