Play-sculptures designed by the architect Fabián Medina Ramos.
Fabián Medina wanted to challenge kids according their age. If they were toddlers, they could crawl over the alligator or the whale, to improve their movements. For preschoolers, they could climb the bear, the rhinoceros, or the hippopotamus, or just stay at the hollow of their bellies. And for taller children there was the giraffe and the camel, to jump or to slide from the top.
The main challenge was to let children see these concrete animals as whatever they want them to be. To exercise the imagination not just the body.

They are in perfect condition. Two years ago, the concrete animals were about to get demolished because of the remodelling of the park. This plan could be stopped by some architects and now the government not just kept but also restored them.
